This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska and
northwest Kansas.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
Scattered storms developing in Colorado will track east toward
Kansas and Nebraska late this afternoon and evening. A few severe
storms are possible, mainly in eastern Colorado and nearby Kansas and
Nebraska border counties between 5 PM and 11 PM MDT. Damaging wind
gusts up to 70 mph are the primary hazard. Torrential rainfall,
localized flooding, an isolated instance of quarter to half dollar
size hail and localized reductions in visibility (to 1 mile) in
blowing dust are also possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…
A daily potential for late afternoon and evening storms, potentially
severe, may continue through the rest of the work week.

for Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in eastern Colorado.
Damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph are the primary hazard. Torrential
rainfall, localized flooding, an isolated instance of quarter to ping
pong ball size hail and localized reductions in visibility (to 1
mile) in blowing dust are also possible.
