At 221 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Plainview, or 7 miles south of Maynardville,
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Knoxville, Sevierville, Clinton, Jefferson City, Dandridge,
Maynardville, Rutledge, White Pine, Plainview, and New Market.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so closely monitor for additional
information or possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
