Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 27 at 1:38PM CDT until July 27 at 2:15PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
At 138 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oakfield, or
near Waupun, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE…Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include…
Fond Du Lac, Waupun, Cedar Grove, Campbellsport, Random Lake,
Oakfield, Brandon, Ashford, Lamartine, Byron, Alto, Eden, Cascade,
Adell, Fairwater, Silver Creek, Beechwood, Oak Center, Dundee, and
Waucousta.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
