Special Weather Statement issued July 26 at 11:30PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

At 1128 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Decaturville, or 13 miles west of Linden, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Parsons, Decaturville, Montgomery, Saltillo, Thurman, Perryville,
Gumdale, Wilkinstown, Haney, Bath Springs, Pleasant Grove, Mount
Tabor, Red Walnut, Largo, Swift, Dunbar, and Mount Lebanon.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
west Tennessee.
