Special Weather Statement issued July 25 at 7:49PM MST by NWS Phoenix AZ

At 749 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Vicksburg, or 30 miles south of Alamo Lake, moving west at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Vicksburg, Vicksburg Junction, Bouse, Harcuvar, and Salome.

This includes the following highways…
US Highway 60 between mile markers 43 and 57.
AZ Route 72 between mile markers 25 and 49.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
