Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 25 at 5:18PM CDT until July 25 at 5:30PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD
At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harrold, or 12
miles east of Blunt, moving northeast at 35 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR NORTHEASTERN HUGHES AND SOUTHEASTERN
SULLY COUNTIES.
HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE…Trained spotters reported. At 454 PM CDT, an 80 mph wind
gust was recorded 4 miles west-southwest of Blunt.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Holabird around 525 PM CDT.
Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. This storm has produced widespread destructive
winds and is capable of producing large hail.
