Flood Advisory issued July 24 at 7:27PM CDT until July 24 at 10:30PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of the Panhandle of Texas, including the
following counties, Armstrong and Carson.
* WHEN…Until 1030 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 727 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.

Claude and Washburn.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
