Special Weather Statement issued July 23 at 4:12PM PDT by NWS Boise ID

At 411 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cornucopia, or 30 miles south of Enterprise, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Torrential rain, wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust possible. Minor
damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near…
Cornucopia and Fish Lake around 420 PM PDT.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
