Special Weather Statement issued July 23 at 3:48PM PDT by NWS Elko NV

At 348 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northeast of Grass Valley, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Lander and
west central Eureka Counties.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
