* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE…Southwestern Blount County in east Tennessee…
Central Monroe County in east Tennessee…
* WHEN…Until 145 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1220 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding
continuing in and around Madisonville, TN due to recent rainfall.
Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen since this morning.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible over
the area over the next few hours. This additional rain will
likely result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Madisonville, Tariffville, Citico Beach, Citico, Talassee and
Mount Vernon.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
