Special Weather Statement issued July 22 at 6:31PM EDT by NWS Caribou ME

At 631 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Howland, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Howland, Milo, Springfield, Orneville, Lincoln, Grand Falls, Lake
View Plantation, Enfield, Hudson, Greenbush, Bradford, Lee, Alton,
Lagrange, Mattawamkeag, Chester, Winn, Passadumkeag, Burlington, and
Lowell.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 95 between mile markers 206 and 234.
State Highway 11 between Bradford and Milo.
