North central Broome County in central New York…
Southern Chenango County in central New York…

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 139 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Greene, or 10 miles northeast of Greater
Binghamton Airport, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
