Marine Weather Statement issued July 21 at 3:38PM EDT by NWS Gaylord MI

At 336 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located 12 nm east of Oscoda, moving southeast at
35 knots. Additional thunderstorms will likely move into this area
over the next hour or so.

Locations impacted include…
Central Lake Huron Buoy.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
