Coastal Flood Advisory issued July 22 at 3:50AM EDT until July 22 at 12:00PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT…Minor coastal flooding.
* WHERE…Coastal Jefferson and Coastal Wakulla Counties.
* WHEN…Until noon EDT today.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Water levels will remain elevated this
morning. The next significant high tide in Apalachee Bay will be
around 830 am EDT. During the high tide, 1 to 2 feet of
inundation are expected on normally dry ground near the
immediate coast.
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
