Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 20 at 5:25PM CDT until July 20 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Marquette MI
At 525 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Florence, or 9
miles north of Iron Mountain, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Felch, Niagara, Aurora, Quinnesec,
Randville, Granite Bluff, Stager, Merriman, and Peavy Falls Dam.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Upper Michigan.

building.
