Special Weather Statement issued July 19 at 5:54PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX

At 553 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Old Glory, or 11 miles east of Aspermont, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Old Glory and Us-380 Near The Haskell-Stonewall County Line.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
