* At 421 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 nm northeast of
The Center Of The Albemarle Sound, or 10 nm southwest of Currituck
Sound, moving east at 30 knots.
HAZARD…Wind gusts to 40 knots.

IMPACT…Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include…
Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills.
Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
