Tornado Warning issued July 15 at 1:24AM CDT until July 15 at 1:30AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 124 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Montell, or 21 miles southwest of Leakey, moving
north at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Uvalde County.
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room of a sturdy building. Avoid
windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle,
move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from
flying debris.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
