Special Weather Statement issued July 15 at 7:09PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 709 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Washington, or 8 miles southeast of Nashville, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Blevins, McCaskill and Ozan.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
