Special Weather Statement issued July 13 at 7:28PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

At 727 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 11 miles southwest of Lakewood Park, or 13 miles west
of Indrio. These storms were nearly stationary.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Vero Beach, Vero Beach South, Vero Beach Highland, Lakewood Park, and
Grovenor Estates.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
