Flood Advisory issued July 11 at 6:00AM EDT until July 11 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS Louisville KY
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Clark and Madison.
* WHEN…Until 900 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 600 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Winchester, Hunt, Pinchem, Haggard, Olivers, Bloomingdale,
Cotton Branch, Flanagan, Doylesville and Jackson Ferry.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
