Flood Advisory issued July 10 at 10:21PM EDT until July 11 at 1:30AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Adams County, Ohio, and western Scioto County, Ohio.

* WHEN…Until 130 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1020 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
possible.
– Some locations that may experience flooding include…
Cherry Fork, West Union, Cedar Mills, Dunkinsville, Peebles,
Winchester, Seaman, Blue Creek, Rarden, Otway, Wamsley, and
Lombardsville.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
