Special Weather Statement issued July 9 at 7:32PM EDT by NWS Wakefield VA

At 732 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lewisetta, or over Callao, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
vehicles.

This strong thunderstorm will be near…
Lewisetta around 735 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Lottsburg, Village,
Avalon, Reedville, Lilian, Hull Neck, Edwardsville, Howland, Fleeton,
and Opheila.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
eastern and east central Virginia.
