At 1132 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southeast
of Lehr, or 39 miles west of Ellendale, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Wishek, Kulm, Lehr, Jud, Venturia, Fredonia, Green Lake and Danzig.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
