Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 9 at 11:01PM CDT until July 9 at 11:15PM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND
At 1101 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7
miles northeast of Edgeley to 12 miles south of Streeter, or along a
line from 29 miles north of Ellendale to 42 miles southwest of
Jamestown, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Edgeley, Gackle, Adrian, Jud, Dickey, Berlin, Alfred and
Nortonville.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
