Special Weather Statement issued July 7 at 3:56PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY

At 356 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hemingford, or 20 miles north of Alliance, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hemingford, Box Butte County Fairgrounds, and Wild Horse Butte.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
