Special Weather Statement issued July 6 at 8:57PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 857 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 9 miles northwest of Athens to 13 miles
north of Bluff City, or extending from 13 miles northwest of Umpire
to 12 miles northeast of Prescott, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Nashville, Prescott, Dierks, Umpire, Blevins, Corinth, Center
Point, Athens, McCaskill, Muddy Fork, Lebanon, Burg and Boughton.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
