Special Weather Statement issued July 5 at 4:45PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kemper to Kingstree.
Movement was northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Marion, Lake City, Mullins, Kingstree, Pamplico, Lake View, Fork,
Blue Brick, Zion, Cades, Gapway, Rains, Gresham, Hebron, New Hope,
Galivants Ferry, Hyman, Hannah, Floydale, and Smithboro.
