Special Weather Statement issued July 5 at 2:24PM MDT by NWS Missoula MT

At 224 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles south of Salmon, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Baker and Williams Lake.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
