Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 5 at 5:17PM CDT until July 5 at 5:45PM CDT by NWS Norman OK
At 516 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Margaret to 4 miles east of Olney, moving east at
20 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Archer City, Megargel, Lake Diversion, Thalia, Dundee, Westover,
Margaret, Lockett, Lake Kemp, Mabelle, Medicine Mound, Lake Kickapoo,
Rayland, and Copper Breaks State Park.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
