Special Weather Statement issued July 3 at 3:02PM EDT by NWS Gaylord MI

At 301 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hulbert, or 14 miles east of Newberry, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Trout Lake, Hulbert, and Rexton.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
