Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 3 at 8:23PM CDT until July 3 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE
At 822 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gretna, moving
east at 15 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Papillion, Gretna, Prairie Queen Recreation Area, Walnut Creek
Recreation Area, Wehrspann Lake, and Chalco.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 435 and
440.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
