* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southern Sullivan County in central New York…
Southeastern Pike County in northeastern Pennsylvania…

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 617 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Milford, or
near Montague, moving southeast at 45 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Milford and Matamoras PA.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Matamoras, Milford, Millrift, Glen Spey, Dingmans Ferry, and Twin
Lakes.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
