Flood Advisory issued July 3 at 6:11PM EDT until July 3 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of northern Indiana, including the following
counties, Blackford and Jay.
* WHEN…Until 815 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 610 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Portland, Dunkirk, Albany, Redkey, Center, Salamonia,
Collett, Blaine, New Mount Pleasant, Como, College Corner,
Bluff Point, Liber, Powers, Boundary City, Brice and
Bellfountain.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
