Special Weather Statement issued July 2 at 3:47PM MDT by NWS Denver CO

At 347 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Buckley SFB, or 8 miles southeast of Denver, moving northeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Northeastern Aurora, Denver International Airport, D.I.A Terminal
and Concourses, Watkins and Buckley SFB.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
