Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 2 at 7:31PM CDT until July 2 at 7:45PM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD
At 731 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lake Vermillion State Recreation Area to 6 miles
west of Wall Lake to near Parker, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
These severe storms will be near…
Hartford, Wall Lake, Humboldt, and Chancellor around 735 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Lennox.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Sioux Falls.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
