Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 2 at 2:24AM MDT until July 2 at 2:45AM MDT by NWS Denver CO
At 224 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southwest of
Peetz, or 19 miles north of Sterling, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Damage to vehicles is expected. Hail may accumulate on
roadways causing hazardous travel.
Locations impacted include…
Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Logan County.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.
Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding. Do
not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
