Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 29 at 8:53PM CDT until June 29 at 9:15PM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE
At 851 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northeast of
Wynot, or 9 miles west of Vermillion, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Public. At 836 pm, ping pong ball sized hail was reported
in Fordyce.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Cedar County, including the following locations…
Brooky Bottom.

building.
