At 537 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hedley, or 12
miles northwest of Memphis, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect some tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include…
Hedley and Lelia Lake.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
