Flood Warning issued June 30 at 2:40PM MDT until June 30 at 4:45PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Southern Glacier County in north central Montana…
Northwestern Pondera County in north central Montana…

* WHEN…Until 445 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 238 PM MDT, Gauge reports indicated ongoing flooding at Badger
Creek below Four Horns Canal. Flooding is already occurring in
the warned area.
– This includes the following streams and drainages… Badger
Creek, North Fork Whitetail Creek and Whitetail Creek. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned
area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Mainly rural areas of Southern Glacier and Northwestern Pondera
Counties.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
