At 500 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Clyde, or 9 miles west of Hartsville, moving east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Florence, Bennettsville, Hartsville, Darlington, Cheraw, Mccoll,
Quinby, Clio, Mont Clare, Mars Bluff, Brownsville, Lydia, Darlington
Raceway, Swift Creek, Florence Darlington Technical College Main
Campus, Oats, Chavistown, Floyd, North Hartsville, and Dovesville.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 20 between mile markers 128 and 141.
Interstate 95 in South Carolina near mile marker 146, and between
mile markers 155 and 175.
