At 1230 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northeast
of Drake, or 25 miles northwest of Harvey, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Drake, Anamoose, Berwick, Balfour and George Lake.
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
