Flood Advisory issued June 28 at 12:32AM EDT until June 28 at 3:45AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…The following county, in west central Ohio, Clark.
* WHEN…Until 345 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1232 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
inch are possible.
– Some locations that may experience flooding include…
Springfield, Pitchin, Springfield Municipal Airport, Hustead
and Selma.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
