Special Weather Statement issued June 26 at 4:19PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

At 418 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rex, or 13 miles south of Fayetteville, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
St. Pauls, Tobermory, Rex, Parkton, and Lumber Bridge.

This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 31
and 38.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
