Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 26 at 7:48PM MDT until June 26 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Rapid City SD
At 748 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Red Shirt, or
30 miles southeast of Rapid City, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Red Shirt, Folsom and western Badlands National Park.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
