The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Beaver County in the Panhandle of Oklahoma…
Northeastern Lipscomb County in the Panhandle of Texas…

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 534 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles east of
Follett, or 14 miles north of Shattuck, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect some tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Hail damage to vehicles
is expected.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Beaver and northeastern Lipscomb Counties.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for the Panhandle
of Oklahoma…and the Panhandle of Texas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
