Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 25 at 5:29PM EDT until June 25 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 529 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast
of Punxsutawney, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Rossiter, Cherry Tree and Glen Campbell.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
