Special Weather Statement issued June 22 at 9:27PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY

At 927 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rawhide Buttes, or 12 miles south of Lusk, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Van Tassell and Rawhide Buttes.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
southeastern and east central Wyoming.
