Special Weather Statement issued June 22 at 5:44PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

At 544 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles west of Laurens, or 10 miles northeast of Honea Path, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Laurens, Fountain Inn, Gray Court, Fork Shoals, Princeton, Hickory
Tavern, Ora, and Enoree.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
