Special Weather Statement issued June 22 at 3:23PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL

At 323 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Brantley, or 8 miles southwest of Luverne, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Luverne, Brantley, Rutledge, and Glenwood.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
